DMT-BLOCK

On September 25, the first blockdrop token for bitmap holders went live. $BLOCK is a fungible token that are claimable by every bitmap holder, and the supply depends on the bits value of the block height of the bitmap owned. It has no utility but it is a demonstration of Digital Matter Theory (DMT) and mining Non-Arbitrary Tokens using Bitcoin data.

Blob 2.0

Book of Blob has teased that it’s “time for something NUE,” signaling the arrival of Blob 2.0, also known as Nue Color. Recently, Nuro showcased his artwork in a San Francisco gallery, where notable artist Cath Simard attended and shared her praise on X.

Blob 2.0 is the next chapter of Blob, an innovative Bitcoin Ordinals project that blends art, creativity, and technology. The original Blob made waves by airdropping 10,000 ordinals and inscribing “Spike 1” on the 2024 Epic Sat, which was a historical milestone for the project.

Not much has been released about Blob 2.0 yet but it may feature new Blobs with video and music elements. While holding Blob 1.0 might be key to unlocking this next phase, nothing has been confirmed.

🐸MEMES🐸

Slowly over time, memes have become stronger and stronger, becoming less dependant on the overall market. During the short market crash that occurred, memes were one of few things that held up. I can imagine this is a strong foresight on where the market will go over the next few months - memes being the strongest this cycle than they've ever been in another cycle.

As someone who's been around on Solana since 2021, I remember quite clearly how this time a year ago, people would celebrate when a coin would hit 2 million market cap. Now we have multiple coins on Solana that are over 100 million market cap and even a few above 1 billion. This is testament to the progression we've seen with Solana memes. One thing I have noticed is that earlier Solana memes are starting to make comebacks, including the first coin of the memecoin cycle on Solana: $WEN (https://x.com/WenCoinSolana). $WEN had hit an all time high of $2.8 million market cap, before the first Jupiter launchpad/Ovols coin was revealed to be named $WEN as well. This hit the original coin quite badly unfortunately, but now the majority of the OG holders have made a lot of money and influence, so they have recently announced their intention to work on the coin together as a community.

On another topic, everyone must know that cults are the strongest longer term bets when it comes to memes. The usual ones that are brought up are $PEPE, $APU, $GIGA, $SPX6900 etc and I support every single one of these, however based on my observations, there's one incredibly underrated cult on Solana and that's $SCF (https://x.com/ChurchOfTheSCF). Recently Arthur Hayes, the founder of Bitmex and Maelstrom VC bought into $SCF and tweeted about how he can see it at over $1 billion market cap. Not to mention, there have been an absurd number of coins inspired by $SCF that have gone to a few million market cap e.g. $FIC (https://x.com/fishincondom). All things considered, I think the true absurdity of $SCF as well as the strength of the chart makes it a clear long term contender.
