🐸MEMES🐸

Since Token 2049 and Solana Breakpoint in Singapore, things have started to look incredibly bullish for memes, especially after a very difficult period.

At the moment the opportunities for memes are far more spread out, with many new memes on Ethereum having a lot of success. Alongside this, Solana's new launches are now doing better, with a regular top of 1m market cap for most new coins seeming a thing of the past. Let's not forget about Moodeng: that hippo has been everywhere on the internet, being posted in the Times' news and being used by the social media accounts of huge companies like McDonalds, Microsoft, X, Buffalo Wild Wings etc. After hitting a low of 6k market cap, it has soared to over 70m. Not to mention that Moodeng was listed on Moonshot at around 1m market cap so normies had very easy access to the coin.

Going forward, I think there are many ways to look for alpha:

1) Other low market cap listed coins on Moonshot - The current coin I'm looking at that got listed on Moonshot is $DOE (Dogs of Elon https://x.com/dogsofelon), which is at around 2.5m market cap

2) After moodeng, many coins based off memes that are popular on tiktok and socials have been launching and doing very well, including $UNC and $PESTO, so it would be wise to keep tabs on tiktok meme trends

3) Look through higher time frame charts for mid/high caps and see how strongly they're closing or reversing. Some of the strongest from my observation are:

🪙CRYPTO DIGEST🪙

Bitcoin experienced a notable rally to the Orange band last week, marking a critical resistance level. If Bitcoin can reclaim and maintain this level, it could indicate a possible trend reversal. Conversely, failure to hold may result in a retracement below the Yellow band towards the Blue band. A definitive bullish reversal would entail Bitcoin not only securing the Orange band but also advancing beyond and stabilizing above the Red band as support.

ETH/BTC observed its lowest price action for the week, dropping to 0.03832 but managed to close above the pivotal 0.04 level. While the potential for ETH to outperform BTC is approaching, the precise timing remains uncertain. The immediate focus should be on whether ETH/BTC can sustain the 0.04 level as support, avoiding further declines below this threshold.

The broader altcoin market, represented by Total3/BTC and Others/BTC, has slightly recovered from recent lows but has yet to overcome key levels that could signify a significant market shift. Continued observation of these indices is crucial for identifying any potential bullish deviations.

The S&P 500 achieved a new all-time high of $5,733.57 last week. As the new week begins just shy of this peak, tracking whether the index can surpass and hold above this mark will be key, potentially leading to further exploration towards $5,800. Gold continues its ascent into price discovery, establishing new highs. In the current economic landscape, gold is expected to maintain its strong performance.

The Federal Reserve’s recent decision to implement a 50bps rate cut has historical precedents that sometimes align with recession onset. With ongoing economic uncertainty and global tensions, maintaining adaptability in investment and trading strategies is advisable. Key events to watch this week include GDP Growth Rate QoQ for Q2 and Initial Jobless Claims on Thursday, followed by Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s speech and the PCE Price Index on Friday.

LayerZero Reallocation Bonus

If you claimed the ZRO airdrop and continued using it post TGE, you could be eligible for an additional allocation. The bonus tokens come from unclaimed tokens from last airdrop and pro-rata to those who claimed and continue using.
