Crypto’s been busy, headlines are hitting hard. Don't worry we got you. The market has been brewing, here's what's currently happening:

🪙Bearish or Bullish

BTC/USD

After briefly deviating below $100K last week and finding support at the prior week's LD BB Level $98.4K, BTC begins this week holding this critical threshold. The recovery above $100K is a good sign of short-term strength.

This week, I’m watching whether BTC can maintain support at $103K for a potential push toward the Yellow band (~$106.9k) and $107.8K (HD Level). If $103K fails, I’ll be watching $100K closely. A break below $100K could see price gravitate toward the Blue band (~$95K), signaling deeper consolidation or a potential breakdown.

BTC Bull/Bear Levels (BB):

• HD: $107.8K

• H4: $103K

• BB: $101K

• L4: $99K

• LD: $94.2K

ETH/USD

Short-term, ETH is currently testing the range low ($2,325). I’ll be looking for a confident reclaim of that level for stronger bullish confirmation, with the first target being a retest of higher range valuations. Range low $2,325 and $2,730 Range High.

ETH/BTC

ETH/BTC fell below key support 0.0225 last week but begins this week reclaiming that level after what now appears to be a deviation. If 0.0225 continues to hold, it strengthens the argument that ETH may be setting up to lead the next major market phase.

BTC Dominance & Broader Alt Market

BTC Dominance posted a new cycle high, and I expect this trend to continue unless/until we see confirmation of a rate cut, likely in September, though July cuts are freshly being priced in.

• Total3/BTC and Others/BTC also posted new cycle lows last week.

• This reflects continued risk off behavior in altcoins, and until monetary policy clearly pivots, BTC likely remains the better risk adjusted play.

  The rotation back into alts may begin after confirmation of Fed easing. Until then, capital preservation and strategic accumulation remain key.

  

Key Economic Events This Week

This week is heavy on Fed signals and includes critical inflation and labor data, all of which have the potential to jolt markets, especially if there’s a policy surprise or weak macro print.

Tuesday

• Jerome Powell testifies before the House (Monetary Policy Outlook)

Wednesday

• Powell testifies before the Senate

• New Home Sales MoM (May): Expected -5.8% (Prior +10.9%)

Thursday

• Initial Jobless Claims: Expected 247K (Prior 245.5K)

• Core PCE YoY: Expected 2.6% (Prior 2.5%)

• Core PCE MoM: Expected 0.1% (Prior 0.1%)

Final Thoughts

Patience remains key this summer. BTC is consolidating at historically high levels, and ETH is showing signs of gearing up. While alts are still under pressure, opportunities for strategic accumulation are emerging. If September marks the shift in monetary policy, the time to prepare is now, and the time to take profits will come sooner than most expect. Keep capital nimble and bias flexible.
